On November 16, 2018 China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association Methanol Branch Workshop and Methanol Market Seminar was successfully held in Fuyang. Gu Zongqin, Chairman of China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, Wang Xianyi, Vice Mayor of Fuyang, Fan Dianzai, Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of Haoyuan Company, attended the meeting. More than 120 experts and representatives attended the meeting.

Wang Xianyi made an important speech. He thanked the methanol industry experts who attended the meeting to attend the "2018 China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association Methanol Branch Workshop and Methanol Market Seminar" in Fuyang. He affirmed the positive contribution of Anhui Haoyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd. to the national methanol industry in the rapid and healthy development.

In his speech, Gu Zongqin pointed out that the current macro-economy is improving and the prosperity of the chemical industry is rising; the international crude oil price shocks up, which is good for the methanol market; the traditional downstream product market is better and the emerging demand is strong; the supply is slightly insufficient, and the growth of total consumption is weak. At the same time, President Gu Zongqin also analyzed that the methanol market from the fourth quarter to next year will be affected by factors such as coal gas limitation, oil price trend, trade war, demand changes and so on.

_Subsequently, the participants exchanged extensively on the recent operation and development trend of methanol spot and futures markets, discussed the content and organizational form of the 2019 methanol industry conference, and studied the working arrangements of methanol branch in 2019.

At the meeting, Shang Liyan, a methanol analyst of Haoyuan Company, analyzed the methanol market in Anhui area according to the adjustment of methanol production capacity in Anhui area and the change of demand for methanol in downstream products. Shang Liyan analyzed the market situation of methanol in Anhui through a large number of data, which provided the basis for the national methanol marketing strategy from the fourth quarter to next year.

After the meeting, the experts, accompanied by Jia Jian and Gao Minglin, deputy general manager of the company, visited the methanol plant in Haoyuan Park.
