On December 20, the emergency drill for environmental emergencies in Fuyang City, Anhui Province, was held in Haoyuan Company in 2018. During the drill, the methanol filling connection hose of Haoyuan Space Furnace System No. 2 4000 cubic meters methanol storage tank leaked and ignited electrostatically. During the disposal process, methanol wastewater overflowed into the Luojiagou through the company's rainwater pipe network, accompanied by a large amount of methanol volatilization as a hypothesis. Wang Yufeng, Standing Committee of Fuyang Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Fuyang Municipality, was the General Commander of the drill.

At 9:00 a.m. on December 1, 11 people were poisoned and injured by leakage and electrostatic fire of the connecting hose of methanol filling connection of No. 2 4000 cubic metre methanol storage tank of Haoyuan Space Furnace System. In the process of disposal, methanol wastewater overflowed into Luojiagou through the company's rainwater pipeline network, accompanied by a large amount of methanol volatilization, the enterprise leaders immediately reported to the relevant government departments for help. After receiving the report, the Municipal Government immediately launched the Emergency Plan for Emergency Environmental Events in Fuyang City, and launched the emergency rescue forces of the city emergency headquarters at level III to rush to the scene to carry out emergency rescue and disposal; after receiving the report, the Provincial Ecological Environment Department sent a working group to the scene to guide the emergency disposal.

Through the active action and cooperation of various departments, units and Haoyuan Company, the incident was properly handled.

8595 Through the emergency drill of Haoyuan company, the coordination and execution ability of various departments, units and Haoyuan company in dealing with environmental emergencies are tested, and the business level of emergency disposal personnel is tested, which provides the basis for further optimizing emergency plan of environmental emergencies and improving the business level of emergency disposal personnel.
