It is reported that Professor Luo Guohua is now an associate professor of the Department of chemical engineering, Tsinghua University, a doctoral supervisor, an undergraduate class teacher and a teacher of fluidization reaction engineering. The main research fields include chemical reaction engineering, nano materials, energy and environmental chemical engineering, heterogeneous catalysis, fine chemical synthesis process and engineering, etc. Research interests include green catalytic technology and engineering, carbon nanotubes and nanocomposites, gas-solid fluidized bed reactor technology and other new technologies. He has made outstanding achievements in the research and engineering development of fluidized bed reactor technology for mass production of carbon nanotubes, nano composite polymer materials, fluidized bed reactor technology for synthesis of vinyl chloride, and nano gold catalyst to replace mercury, and made important contributions to the development of national chemical industry.
