Recently, the 2020 China nitrogen fertilizer and methanol technology conference was held in Weifang City, Shandong Province. The conference commended the technological progress and innovation achievements, energy conservation and emission reduction advanced units and individuals of nitrogen fertilizer and methanol industry in 2019, and exchanged, publicized and promoted the advanced technological achievements and research hotspots of nitrogen fertilizer industry. Only fan Dian, Secretary of the Party committee and chairman of Haoyuan company, was invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, Haoyuan company was awarded the "energy saving and emission reduction advanced unit of nitrogen fertilizer and methanol industry in 2019". The company's "process optimization and improvement of diethylene glycol ammoniation to diethylene glycol amine" and "research and development and industrialization of low energy consumption concentrated brine crystallization zero emission device" won the second prize of science and technology award of China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, and "research and industrialization of liquid vehicle urea technology" Zhang Chao and Zhu Shipeng were awarded the third prize of science and technology award of China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, and Zhang Chao and Zhu Shipeng were awarded the "energy saving and emission reduction advanced individual of nitrogen fertilizer and methanol industry in 2019".
