Wangjiaba sluice is known as the "barometer" of the flood control of the Huaihe River and the "wind vane" of the disaster situation of the Huaihe River. It has made great contributions to reducing the flood peak of the Huaihe River and ensuring the flood prevention safety of the two Huaihe energy bases, the transportation arteries of Beijing Kowloon and Beijing Shanghai, the Huaibei levee and large and medium-sized cities along the Huaihe River.

Later, we visited Wangjiaba flood fighting Memorial Hall. By listening to the commentator's detailed description of the geographical location and important role of Wangjiaba sluice, the great attention paid by leaders of previous dynasties to the governance of the Huaihe River and the inheritance of "Wangjiaba spirit" by the people in Wangjiaba flood storage area, the party members have a deeper understanding of the connotation and value of Wangjiaba spirit, and have been "given up by the people of Wangjiaba to take the overall situation into account"; "The spirit of self-improvement without fear of difficulties and dangers" was deeply moved. In the museum, Party members and cadres clenched their fists and reviewed the oath of joining the party in the face of the bright red party flag.
