2024 marks the 102nd anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Youth League of China and also commemorates the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement.   On May 22nd, the North District Dianyi Youth League Branch held a poetry recitation competition with the theme of "Promoting the May Fourth Spirit, Youth, and Responsibility".

Twelve young contestants appeared on stage one after another, reciting poems with deep emotions, conveying the emotions and power in the words to every audience present, fully showcasing the vibrant and enterprising spirit of young people in the new era. Wu Xinlei from the electrical workshop won first prize for his original work "To the Poplar Tree" and wonderful recitation. Xue Mangxiang from the instrument workshop and Li Gaoyang from the electrical workshop won second prize. Yuan Xianglong, Yuan Xin, and Yu Liang from the electrical workshop won third prize.
Through the poetry recitation competition, not only did it promote the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, but it also stimulated the patriotic enthusiasm and fighting spirit of young employees in the company. The employees present expressed that they will forge ahead with greater enthusiasm and high fighting spirit, and contribute their youthful wisdom and strength to the rapid development of the company.
