Development and Reform Commission recently issued a document nine departments, requiring good supply of fertilizer in 2011 spring to crack down on acts of manufacturing and selling counterfeit and inferior chemical fertilizers.
Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Agriculture, Commerce, Business Administration, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Gongxiaozongshe recently released "on efforts to spring 2011, fertilizer supply work," pointed out that since the third quarter of 2010, the agricultural products prices rose faster necessities of life, increasing the burden on urban and rural residents. Stable food prices to stabilize the general price level is extremely important. To ensure fertilizer supply, fertilizer input to maintain a reasonable yield is a prerequisite for stable production of food, to stabilize prices of agricultural products, management of inflation expectations have a fundamental role. Relevant departments at all levels to recognize the situation and make every effort to supply of spring fertilizer.
The circular said that all localities should strictly implement the State Council, "the overall level of consumer prices on the stability of the basic livelihood guarantee people notice", protect the normal production of fertilizer business electricity, gas supply, no fertilizer business rolling blackouts. The notice also requested to increase support for rail transport; continue to implement preferential policies for the production and distribution of fertilizer; do the work of commercial reserves of fertilizer off-season; urge enterprises to actively buying and selling of agricultural materials.
The notice also proposed to strengthen market and price regulation. Requirements at all levels of industry and commerce, quality inspection, the agricultural sector to increase market supervision and crack down on manufacturing and selling counterfeit and inferior chemical fertilizers, virtual standard content, stolen by nutrients and other illegal activities, public exposure of major cases, deter illegal
