New Fertilizer Technology 2011 International Conference by the China National Chemical Information Center and Wuhan Novo CD Kay co-sponsored by Biological Material Co., Ltd., in the March 15 meeting in Shanghai, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Agricultural Technology Extension and Service Center, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences , Branch of CCPIT Chemical Bank, the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer Committee of the new fertilizer, Seaweed Industry Association of China and other relevant leaders attended the meeting, domestic and foreign research institutes, chemical fertilizer production and distribution companies, distributors and representatives of more than 300 attended the meeting. For leaders, experts and scholars on national policy, the positioning of new fertilizers, hot focus of the technology industry made a keynote speech on the slow-release fertilizer technology, development status, humic acid fertilizer, seaweed fertilizer, and other new fertilizer depth discussions on technical issues and research.
In recent years, the substantial increase in agricultural fertilizer effect of decreasing fertilization, serious waste and the formation of the agricultural nonpoint source pollution. According to state departments of research and experimental data show that nitrogen fertilizer production in China accounts for about 5% of national energy consumption, production and application of nitrogen fertilizer in each of the process of carbon dioxide emissions account for about 8% of the country. The experts and representatives agreed that the slow release fertilizer to promote a new type of fertilizer represented imperative. As China's modest tightening of monetary policy this year, to increase energy conservation efforts, the Chinese fertilizer industry once again faced with industry consolidation, in line with China's "resource-saving and environment-friendly" development requirements of slow-release controlled release fertilizer, humic acid fertilizer, seaweed fertilizer fertilizers and other new business opportunities and ushered in a huge golden opportunity.
The experts and representatives unanimously called for, our government should increase research investment, to support competitive enterprises, vigorously promote the new fertilizer technology, innovative research, enhance R & D capabilities; the same time learn the practice of foreign fertilizer subsidies and domestic more mature organic fertilizer subsidy mechanism, the use of slow-release fertilizer, and other new farmers fertilizer subsidies, and mobilize their enthusiasm with the new fertilizer to promote new fertilizer application, to obtain the agricultural production, ecological protection, resource conservation and other multiple benefits.
