Ministry of Transport and the latest release of highway and waterway transport industry statistical bulletin shows that in 2010, the national oil and chemical port terminal continued to increase professional, oil and gas, chemical fertilizers, pesticides and industrial chemicals such as faster growth in cargo throughput.
Data show that in 2010, the country and over the port-ton berths in total coal, ore, grain and so forth, 903 berths, of which petroleum and chemical berths 291, accounting for 32.2%. Specific crude oil berths 69 berths of 109 oil, liquid chemical berth 113, respectively, than the end of 2009 an increase of 3, 1 and 7, than the "fifth" added at the end of 14, 32 and 78.
In 2010, the port completed the national scale coal, oil, ore, grain and other major cargo throughput of 8.102 billion tons, of which oil and chemical goods, 1.091 billion tons, accounting for 13.5%. Completed year of oil, natural gas and products throughput of 712 million tons, an increase of 14.4%, foreign trade throughput of 296 million tons, an increase of 15.8%. Completion of non-metallic ore throughput of 1.85 tons, an increase of 26.2%, foreign trade throughput of 043 million tons, an increase of 50%. Complete throughput of 035 million tons of fertilizers and pesticides, an increase of 15.3%, foreign trade throughput of 017 million tons, an increase of 81.1%. Throughput of chemical raw materials and finished products, 159 million tons, an increase of 19.4%, foreign trade throughput of 068 million tons, an increase of 12.4%. (Qian Min)
