U.S. corn production was severely reduced, global coarse grain supply is even better than a year ago. These supplies will be reduced 2012-13 U.S. corn exports and to procure corn imports increased slightly.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture in August Feed Outlook report, global coarse grain 2012-2013 early inventory forecast last month, compared to 168.5 million tons, an increase of 5.8 million tons. The Brazilian product forecast last month increased by 2.8 million tons.

However, experts pointed out that the global coarse grain use continued to increase in the past nine years, so the supply can not keep up with demand. This situation will change this year, neither the U.S. nor the world. The report 2012-2013 Global coarse grain consumption will be reduced by 43.1 million tons (4%). The market this year, the USDA expects overall food consumption will be reduced by 0.7%, which is the first reduction since 2002-2003. Most of the reduction in food, seed, and industry, feed and residues is expected to be a slight increase.

Due to insufficient production and higher prices, the U.S. Department of Agriculture again lowered its U.S. corn exports expected this month, the report cut trade 6.5 million tons in October-November, to 33.5 million tons. Global corn exports is the lowest level since 1993-1994. According to the report, it is expected that Argentina, Brazil, South Africa and Canada's corn exports will increase, which will be offset by a decline in exports to the United States.
