The the the three Agriculture Organization of the United Nations system, headquartered in Rome, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Programme (WFP) issued a joint statement called on the international community to take prompt and coordinated action, from the fundamental solution to high food prices andthe problem of hunger.
The joint statement issued by the three United Nations agencies such as FAO, IFAD and the World Food Programme Department pointed out that the current surge in world grain markets, corn, wheat and soybean prices, leading to people the world food crisis of 2007-2008 will reproduce again there are real worries.
