FeFertilizer export tariff policy is expected to moderate to relax

Reporters recently learned that the fertilizer export tariff policy may be adjusted next year. Authorities are comments, the final plan is not yet finalized, but the relevant policies on the basis of this year, relax moderate probability. 

Analysts believe that the fertilizer export tariff policy to relax export a higher proportion of the the relevant fertilizer sector listed companies are expected to benefit. May eventually introduced export tariffs on fertilizer policy, the market is expected to have multiple versions: season export tariffs moderate downward; appropriately extended off-season window period; policy more substantial relaxation. 

Fairly severe the fertilizer export situation this year, leading to intensified competition in the domestic market, the level of corporate earnings decline, the relevant departments have noted the practical difficulties faced by the fertilizer industry. Fertilizer industry needs through exports to ease the pressure of excess capacity. However, the control of planting cost, is an important policy objectives of the department in charge of the industry to protect the domestic fertilizer supply, and therefore, the peak season for exports of fertilizers in the imposition of high tariffs. Next year's fertilizer export tariff policy should protect the domestic price and supply balance under the premise, as far as possible to meet the demands of the business interests, but there will be no major changes in the overall framework. Season export tariffs is expected to moderately reduce more feasible, may be reduced to 2% from 7%. 

The data show that in the first three quarters, China's chemical fertilizer production of 57.32 million tons, a year-on-year growth of 13.7%; exports of 10.75 million tons, down 11.7%. Sub-products, of urea export 2.6 million tons, a year-on-year rise of 36.2%; DAP export 2.7 million tons, down 6.3%; the monoammonium phosphate exports of 38 million tons, down 51.2%.
