In October, India's fertilizer production reached 724,000 tons; imported 972,000 tons; sales of 573,000 tons. Fertilizer production in the country of the fiscal year totaled 3.946 million tons and 4.726 million tons compared with the same period last year dropped significantly; total imports fell to 404,000 tons from 2.316 million tons; sales volume dropped to 4.287 million tons from 6.187 million tons. At the same time, to the end of October, the country's total fertilizer inventory is still high, at 678,000 tons, 429,000 tons in the same period last year.
