The average price of the Bohai Sea region yesterday (23 May) released steam coal calorific value of 5500 kcal per ton to close at 532 yuan (below), the price index was flat with the previous week. Earlier Bohai thermal coal index has edged up 1 per tonne for two consecutive weeks. 

According to statistics, on Monday (21 May) Spring centralized maintenance Datong-Qinhuangdao line into the first 16 days, Qinhuangdao Port coal stocks fell to 4.52 million tons, representing an overhaul before the start of fall 1.35 million tons, a decline of 23 percent, fell to the lowest since October 2011.
