China continues to maintain its position as the world's second largest economy, with steady economic development. The annual GDP is expected to exceed 120 trillion yuan. In the face of the global food crisis, China's food production has achieved "19 consecutive harvests", and the Chinese people's jobs have become more secure. We consolidated the achievements of poverty alleviation, comprehensively promoted rural revitalization, took a series of measures such as tax cuts and fee reductions to help enterprises solve their difficulties, and worked hard to solve the people's urgent problems.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, we have always adhered to people first and life first, scientific and accurate prevention and control, and optimized and adjusted the prevention and control measures according to the time and situation, so as to maximize the protection of people's life safety and health. The vast majority of cadres and the masses, especially medical personnel and grass-roots workers, have persevered bravely despite hardships. Through arduous efforts, we have overcome unprecedented difficulties and challenges, which are not easy for everyone. At present, the epidemic prevention and control has entered a new stage. It is still a tough time. Everyone is working hard, and the dawn is ahead. If we all work harder, perseverance is victory, and unity is victory.

In 2022, Comrade Jiang Zemin left us. We deeply remember his great achievements and noble demeanor, and cherish the precious spiritual wealth he left behind. We should inherit his legacy and push forward the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

Today's China is a country where dreams have been realized one after another. The Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games were successfully held, and ice and snow athletes galloped on the field and made remarkable achievements. The Shenzhou 13, 14 and 15 took off in succession, the China Space Station was fully completed, and our "Space House" was flying in the sky. The People's Army is celebrating its 95th birthday, and officers and soldiers are striving to build a strong military. The launch of the third aircraft carrier "Fujian", the official delivery of the first C919 aircraft, and the full operation of the Baihetan Hydropower Station... All these have condensed the hard work and sweat of countless people. A little spark gathers into a torch, which is the power of China!

Today's China is full of vitality. The pilot free trade zones and Hainan Free Trade Port are flourishing. The coastal areas are actively innovating. The development of the central and western regions is accelerating. The revitalization of the northeast is ready to take off. The border areas are thriving and enriching the people. China's economy is resilient, has great potential and is full of vitality. The fundamentals of long-term improvement remain unchanged. As long as we have firm confidence and strive for progress in stability, we will certainly be able to achieve our stated goals. I went to Hong Kong this year, and was very pleased to see that Hong Kong will enjoy its governance and prosperity. We will unswervingly implement the principle of "one country, two systems", and Hong Kong and Macao will surely enjoy long-term prosperity and stability.

China today is a country that continues its national spirit. The earthquake, flood, drought, mountain fire and other natural disasters and some safety accidents that occurred this year are distressing and sad, but the scenes of sacrificing one's life and helping each other are very touching, and the deeds of heroes will always be remembered in our hearts. Whenever we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, we will always remember the great spirit of the Chinese nation, which has been handed down for thousands of years, and multiply our confidence in moving forward.

Today's China is closely connected with the world. This year, I met many old and new friends in Beijing, and went abroad to talk about China's proposition. The world is not peaceful because of the accelerated evolution of the century old changes. We always cherish peace and development, cherish friends and partners, firmly stand on the right side of history and the progress of human civilization, and strive to contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese programs to the cause of human peace and development.

After the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, I went to Yan'an with my colleagues to review the glorious years when the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China overcame rare difficulties in Yan'an, and to understand the spiritual strength of the older generation of Communists. I often say that difficulties and hardships make you successful. The CPC has gone through a hundred years of hardships and hardships. We should forge ahead and work hard to make China a better place tomorrow.

Tomorrow's China will strive to create miracles. Su Shi once said, "It is very difficult to commit crimes but try to achieve them far away", which means "to tackle the most difficult places and pursue the most ambitious goals". A family on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
