Southern Gasification Workshop: Breakthrough in Maintenance Efficiency Driven by Performance Growth

On March 2, 2025, the gasification workshop in the south area successively issued two commendation circulars, awarding exemplary individual and teams for outstanding performance in equipment maintenance. The outstanding performance of Comrades Li Hongnian, Liu Hai and their team in maintenance work not only demonstrates their personal professional competence, but also embodies the concentrated practice of performance growth and training achievements by all workshop employees.

Li Hongnian's team: Innovative breakthroughs to improve the maintenance efficiency of the ash water hardness removal system

In February 2025, the second phase B ash water hardness removal system of the gasification workshop in the southern area will undergo a major maintenance task. The maintenance work cycle of this system is long and the tasks are heavy, involving complex processes such as equipment reinforcement, anti-corrosion treatment, and dust cleaning operations. The maintenance difficulty is extremely high, and the long-term shutdown of the de hardening device directly affects the water quality of the system, threatening the long-term operation of the device. Faced with challenges, workshop equipment technician Li Hongnian took the initiative to lead the maintenance team to overcome them.

The team led by Li Hongnian has set a new record for maintenance efficiency by innovating work methods and optimizing maintenance processes, reducing the originally required maintenance cycle from over ten days to six days. More importantly, Li Hongnian systematically summarized the experience of this maintenance, compiled the "Guidelines for Efficient Maintenance of Grey Water Hardness Removal", and standardized the maintenance process through specialized training, providing a replicable and promotable technical template for subsequent maintenance work. Therefore, the workshop has decided to award Li Hongnian the title of "Lean Maintenance Pioneer" and provide corresponding cash rewards. This breakthrough achievement fully reflects the spirit of the workshop employees to "make good use of their skills and dare to tackle tough problems".

Liu Hai team: technical breakthrough, breaking the record for coal mill bearing replacement

During the same period, the rocker arm bearings of the first phase AB coal mill were severely worn, and the operation vibration of the coal mill was large, which urgently needed to be solved. Due to the large size of bearings, high technical requirements and long time consumption for replacement have always been technical challenges in the workshop. Equipment manager Liu Hai led the maintenance team deep into the site, and through repeated research and scheme optimization, successfully replaced 2 sets of bearings within one day, creating a new record for maintenance.

The Liu Hai team not only efficiently completed the maintenance task, but also systematically summarized the "Quick Replacement Method for Coal Mill Bearings", providing standardized solutions for similar fault handling. Liu Hai was awarded the title of "Technical Breakthrough Model" by the workshop and given a cash reward. Team members Liu Pengpeng, Zhang Jun, and others were also commended for their outstanding performance, fully demonstrating the craftsmanship spirit of workshop employees who "dare to fight tough battles and are good at solving difficult problems".

The gasification workshop in the southern area has implemented performance growth transfer training through action education, combined with the performance growth flywheel system, comprehensively learned and applied tools such as case decomposition and process optimization, and transformed the training results into actual productivity. The problem point is the growth point. After analyzing the problem bottleneck, workshop personnel strengthen team collaboration, focus on goals, find improvements, optimize processes, and win with one move, significantly improving maintenance efficiency and achieving efficient transformation from theory to practice.

Workshop manager Zhang Honggang said, "Performance growth training has provided us with new ideas and methods, and the performance of comrades such as Li Hongnian and Liu Hai is a vivid reflection of the training results. They have demonstrated the growth system of 'setting goals around strategy, exploring growth quickly, efficiently, and economically' through practical actions, making important contributions to the long-term stable operation of workshop production equipment

The gasification workshop in the southern area has locked in the strategic goal of "100 billion scale, 10 billion profit and tax, and 100 year Haoyuan" for the enterprise.
