On August 8th, the team led by Han Gaoyi from Shanxi University visited Haoyuan Company to conduct in-depth research on industry university research in areas such as new energy, new material research and development, and dual carbon common technologies. The Han Gaoyi team first visited the company's North District Production Control Center, where they gained a deep understanding of the production process, automation control mode, and intelligent operation and maintenance system of the coal based chemical plant through the real-time monitoring system on the central control screen. During the research process, team members combined their professional research directions and had in-depth discussions with on-site technical personnel on the optimization of process flow and improvement of performance indicators for products such as nylon 66, polystyrene, PBAT/PETG biodegradable plastics.

At the subsequent symposium, Zhang Haisheng warmly welcomed the arrival of Han Gaoyi's team and introduced the company's development status and plans from three dimensions: industrial layout, technological innovation, and green development. He pointed out that Haoyuan Company is currently in a critical period of high-end transformation in the coal based industry, requiring cutting-edge technological support from universities to solve technical problems and accelerate the upgrading of coal based materials towards high added value and green direction.

Professor Han Gaoyi shared the latest scientific research achievements and industrialization cases of Shanxi University in the fields of polymer material modification, chemical process optimization, and dual carbon technology research and development, and provided professional responses to the technical needs raised by Haoyuan Company one by one. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the high-end transformation of coal based materials, the improvement of degradable plastic performance, and the construction of the hydrogen energy industry chain, laying the direction for the promotion of future industry university research projects.
