According to the Ministry of Commerce monitoring, last week (December 19th to 25) the national edible agricultural market price index rose by 0.5% over the previous week, the market price index of production data fell by more than the previous week by 0.2%.
Edible agricultural products market: the average price of 30 kinds of vegetables rose by 1.1% over the previous week, eggplant, pepper, tomato prices rose by 9.2%, respectively, and 7.9%. Edible oil prices rose slightly, including soybean oil, peanut oil, rapeseed oil prices rose by 0.3%, 0.1% and 0.1%. The average price of aquatic products rose 0.2%, of which a small octopus, yellow croaker, grass carp prices rose by 1.7%, 0.3% and 0.3%. Egg prices rose slightly, the chicken, egg prices were up 0.1% over the previous week, duck prices and the previous week. Food prices remained stable, including rice, flour prices were flat with the previous week. Meat prices fluctuate slightly, pork prices fell 0.1%, beef prices remained stable, lamb prices rose by 0.2%.
Means of production market: non-ferrous metals prices fell 3% over the previous week, of which lead, zinc, copper, nickel, tin prices fell by 8.5%, respectively, 5.2%, 3.9%, 3.5% and 1.6%, aluminum prices rose. Steel prices fell 0.1%, including steel, high-speed wire, steel prices fell 0.5%, 0.2% and 0.1%. Coal prices rose 0.3%, of which power coal, anthracite, coking coal prices rose by 0.4%, respectively, and 0.2%, and 0.2%. Fertilizer prices rose 0.6%, of which three yuan of urea, potassium chloride, compound fertilizer, diammonium phosphate prices rose by 0.9%, 0.4%, 0.4% and 0.3%. The price of basic chemical raw materials rose 1.1%, including methanol, sulfuric acid, caustic soda, soda ash, benzene prices rose by 2.8%, 1.4%, 0.6%, 0.5% and 0.5%. Rubber prices rose 2%, of which synthetic rubber, natural rubber prices rose by 4.1% and 0.5%.
